As the whole country is eyeing the 2026 general elections,this has brought new faces in the political world. 

Kitswamba sub county in Busongora county North in Kasese district has witnessed Maate Geoffrey commonly known as "BMC OWA MADO" who has bargained Kitswamba sub county LC3 seat on NRM TICKET.

Maate Geoffrey who's is a journalist and a children's advocate told this publication earlier this week that he has come to work for the people of Kitswamba sub county and ensure service delivery. 

Geoffrey a son to a senior politician in Kihyo parish, Kitswamba sub county Mr. Bwambale Stephen Mado was fully nominated as our reporter witnessed. 


          Geoffrey's nomination forms 

"I have come as Kitswamba sub county 's Glory with my main emphasis on food security, boosting education,good service delivery and economic development" Geoffrey said.

Geoffrey therefore called upon all his supporters of Kitswamba sub county to ensure peace and stability during the National resistance movement primaries saying it's the only way to secure victory. 


The Local council 3 primary elections according to the National resistance movement "NRM" roadmap will be held on 15. August. 2025.
